Join Dr. Tammy Mintz in this 3-part series to explore launching your t(w)een in this complicated and ever-changing world. Together, we will dive into aligning values, the struggle between independence and safety, as well as navigating toxic achievement culture to raise your t(w)een with a sense of “mattering”.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification Training
Event DetailsYouth Mental Health First Aid Certification Training
Join us for the nationally recognized Youth Mental Health First Aid course, which is important for anyone working directly with youth ages 12-24. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Upon completion, you will receive a nationally recognized, 3-year YMHFA certification.
Date/Time: Tuesday, January 21st
- 8:30-9:00am – Breakfast and check-in
- 9:00am – 5:30pm – 8-hour certification training + lunch
Location: Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC
Cost: Training cost is subsidized at $36/person. Space is limited.
