Dear 4Front Families,
It has been my distinct pleasure to be part of the 4Front team over the past year and a half. The entire 4Front and JCC family welcomed me into the Baltimore community. Since then, I have come to appreciate the strength and interconnectedness of this community – and I have continued to be impressed and surprised by its connection with Israel, especially Ashkelon. This connection, of course, would not be so strong without the Diller program, which I have only grown to love and respect. With its 18 years of history, it is surely a cherished part of the Baltimore community. I am proud to say that I am a part of that history and connection.
While being in this role has brought me much joy and purpose, I have decided to leave 4Front and Diller, effective after our summer trip this July. I am proud to announce that I will then be working at Goucher College Hillel as their Assistant Director. I am excited to work with the students at Goucher at this most critical time, when Jewish identity and connection to Israel is being challenged in ways we haven’t seen in years.
I am happy to say I will be staying here in the Baltimore area. Even as I transition out of this role, I will always be a resource to my students and families. You are the reason I continue to engage in this critical work – I will miss every one of you. Please stay in touch!
Looking forward to continuing this year and staying in touch even after I depart,
With Love,
Barak
