DILLER TEEN FELLOWS

The Diller Teen Fellows program is a year-long immersive global leadership program inviting teens from six continents and 32 communities to step up, lead their communities, and repair the world. Diller brings together a pluralistic, diverse group of up to 20 Baltimore teens and provide them with the tools, feedback, and guidance you need to experiment, collaborate, and grow as a leader all while exploring your own Jewish identity.

As a Diller Teen Fellow, you could have the opportunity to:

  • Travel to Israel for a unique, 3-week summer seminar*
  • Participate in an exchange program with Israeli teens from our sister city, Ashkelon, in Baltimore*
  • Be recognized as a young Jewish community leader
  • Build a strong connection with Jewish Baltimore and its various institutions
  • Complete a tikkun olam project
  • Build relationships with other outstanding young people from across the Baltimore community and around the world

*Dependent on the official global travel advisory status

Applications for the 2022-2023 Cohort will be open March 14 – May 1, 2022

PROGRAM UPDATE
Diller Program Update for 2021-2022:
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Diller Teen Fellows program has pivoted and altered out curriculum to match local restrictions on meeting in person, travelling, and more.

These restrictions have resulted in the past two cohorts participating in alternatives of our peak moments that require international travel. Although we’ve had to navigate uncharted territory, Diller has always been a year-long program and it is our goal for the 2021-2022 Fellows to develop leadership skills, connect in a global network of peers, and strengthen their Jewish identities. Throughout our year, Diller will follow guidelines to determine if, and when, in-person meetings and travel are possible.

Timeline: Year-Long Cohort
