What is executive coaching?

Coaching is fine tuning. Coaching offers a mixture of training and personalized feedback and advice to take you to the next level professionally. An executive coach serves as a a sounding board, a provider of perspective, a strategic partner, an accountability and motivation partner, and a resource for current trends and best practices.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

Coaching might be for you if…

  • You’re a seasoned professional who wants to sharpen your already sharp skills
  • You’re close to the top of your game and want to continue to grow
  • You want to expand your professionalism in depth and breath
  • You’d like to hone your work-life balance
  • You need extra support achieving a specific goal

How does coaching in E3 work?

Upon registering, all coaching participants will complete a short, one-on-one consultation with the program coordinator Diana Solomon. Groups will then be assigned of 2-3 professionals based on factors like experience, position, and goals.

Your group will receive 8, 50-minute sessions with our executive coach, conducted monthly over Zoom from October through May. The dates and times of your sessions will be determined by your group based on your availability.

How much does coaching cost?

4Front will highly subsidize coaching sessions for E3 members. Members will receive a discounted rate of only $500 for all 8 sessions, less than half of the usual cost for coaching clients.

We encourage organizations to cover this opportunity for their youth professionals. We will be reaching out to organizations to share this opportunity, but please let us know if we can help advocate for your participation in this unique opportunity.

Who is the coach?

For the 4th year in a row, E3 participants will work with Executive Coach Rabbi David Wolfman. Rabbi Wolfman is an expert in Navigating Conflict and Managing Organizational Change and Transition. He’s a certified mediator, William Bridges Instructor in Managing Organizational Change & Transition, a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and is a Myers Briggs (MBTI) certified Practitioner. Having served as the Director of the Reform Movement’s Commission on Rabbi – Congregational Relations for over 15 years, Rabbi Wolfman has a unique insight into lay/clergy relations and is widely recognized as an expert and a leader in this field.

What do other’s have to say about coaching?

“Executive coaching allowed me to gain a new perspective on some of the things I was grappling with professionally. Rabbi David Wolfman offered a unique, confidential, supportive space for me to talk through things I was struggling with, while also nurturing and encouraging me to grow and learn more about my strengths and challenges. He gives the people he coaches the pep talk they need, while also holding a mirror in front for their own self reflection. Participating in coaching in a group setting offered an additional layer of support, as my coaching partner became a confidant and local person in my network of support.”
– 2019-2020 participant

“Executive coaching helped me grow the most. Without it, the program would be like most other programs: come in, learn a bit, share a bit- it’s good, but I think coaching pushed it over the hill for me.”
– 2019-2020 participant
