My family moved to Beth Israel Congregation from my small Carroll County Synagogue when I was in 3rd grade. During my school years, I became a Madricha and worked my way to become our chapter’s USY President. After school, I never left! I became a Hebrew School teacher and eventually became Youth Advisor. I still hold my positions at Beth Israel part time, but wanted to branch out more in the Jewish world, which led me to the JCC and 4Front.

I have been passionate about engaging Jewish teens within the community since I was a teenager. I fell in love with bringing Jewish values to the real world and making the community a better place. I also found Jewish community and chosen family during my critical teenage years, and I want to help create and maintain a similar environment for as many Jewish teens as possible.

Besides my work at Beth Israel, I have worked with the Baltimore Zionist District (BZD). In 2023, I staffed their Israel trip, overseeing 24 teens for 28 days. My unspoken role of the trip was to be the emotional support staff. Being the only American staff, we all agreed that I could bring a sense of home or big sister energy to the trip. Last year, they started their BMORE Israeli group. This time it was a year long cohort, full of leadership and community service opportunities, which I chaperoned when I was available. I hope to be involved with year 2’s cohort and accompany this year’s teens to Israel!

Outside of work, you can find me with my friends. I love to go country line dancing (be on the lookout for my boot collection), and “woo” for my girls at karaoke. I am also passionate about all kinds of art, my favorite medium is acrylic paint!

I am excited to work with 4Front to get a new perspective on teen engagement, event planning, and training opportunities. This opportunity is the perfect fit for me to continue to grow and network in the Jewish world.
