This three week series will present new information by knowledgeable, engaging presenters in a college environment to help you prepare for campus and beyond. Get ready to challenge your own Jewish identity and grow in your learning with this sophisticated new series powered by 4Front and our amazing partners.
All Session are from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at local college Hillel’s. All students are invited to come at 5:30 to learn about the university from current students and university professionals.

Just the Facts Man

Gain the knowledge necessary to engage in high level, meaningful conversations about Israel. Information will be presented in a fun and approachable way. Featuring Steven David, Johns Hopkins Professor of International Relations.
Monday, March 5 | 6:30-8:30pm
Johns Hopkins University Hillel
Explore how we can engage in productive dialogue about Israel with others and with ourselves, featuring Lian Najami. A native of Haifa, Lian is a social activist, an advocate for Israel AND the first-ever Arab-Israeli Rhodes scholar. You don’t want to miss this impressive session!
Tarbuti Tea: MY Culture
Monday, March 12 | 6:30-8:30pm
Tarbuti means “my culture.” Discover Israel beyond the conflict as we take a look at some of Israel’s incredible social, cultural, artistic, athletic, scientific, entrepreneurial, and culinary advancements. You’ll also get to taste test the delicious fruit teas being marketed from the Galilee. Led by Allison Fisher from YAD and our Baltimore shinshinim, in partnership with JCC Maccabi ArtsFest.

Our fourth session is intended for Parents of teens to learn what amazing Jewish adventures await your child as they takes the next steps in their academic lives. Led by former Hopkins Hillel Director Rabbi Debbie Pine, this session provides the opportunity for honest and meaningful conversation with experts about how to help your child transition to life on campus and connect to their Jewish identity.
